What do I need to know about handcrafted products?

Handcrafted products are truly unique and one-of-a-kind… just like you!
What this means is you may see some variation in color or size in your item compared to what is shown on our website.

How much is shipping?

HOORAY the shipping is on us! We offer free shipping on any order placed withing the USA. No other fine print. Easy, right?

How soon can I expect my order to ship?

We’ll get your order carefully packed and delivered within 1-3 business days.

I need to make a change to, or cancel, my order. How do I do that?

Our goal is to start processing your order soon after we receive it, so we have a very small window to make order changes or cancellations – usually less than 4 hours. You can reach us via email at [email protected] and we’ll do our best to assist you. Our customer service hours are 24/7 (holidays may affect these hours).

I received my tracking number, but it does not appear on the carrier’s tracking website. What’s wrong?

We email tracking to you as soon as it’s assigned to your package, which is generally several hours before the carrier collects your order from us. Once the carrier collects your order they’ll update tracking in their system. Try checking the tracking number again in the next business day or two.

Do you ship to international countries?

At this time, we ship to the continental United States only.

Returns & Refunds

I received my item, but it was damaged in shipping. What should I do?

We want to make sure you get the item you ordered, in great condition, in your hands asap. If you receive a damaged/defective item, please contact us via email [email protected] immediately within 2 days of receiving the item. Based on our assessment, we will either send you a replacement piece or refund your money back. However, we will ask you to mail the defective piece back to us (if you contact us within 48 hours). We will provide you with a prepaid shipping label.

visit our returns page to request an exchange within 30 days of your purchase. We will ship a replacement item to you right away at no charge.

I’ve changed my mind about my item. Can I return it?

We want you to be happy with your Alma Artte purchase because when you’re happy, we’re happy! If you want to return a purchase, please visit our returns page to request a return within 30 days of your purchase. We will send you a prepaid mailing label so you can return the item to us in its original condition with all labels attached. Once we receive and process your return, we will deduct the cost of the prepaid label from your refund and return the remaining amount of your original merchandise cost back to the purchase credit card.

Note: All sale items are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded.

Returns/Exchanges:

If you want to return an item, please email [email protected] with the item description/picture. Once we verify the order, we will assign you a return authorization number to be placed on the package and we ask that you return the product in its original condition with all labels attached. You will be responsible for shipping costs. Once we receive the returned item, we will process your return and issue you refund.

If you would like to exchange your item for a different item, please email [email protected] with the item you will be returning. When we receive the returned item, we will process your return and issue you money back. You will be responsible for all shipping costs.

Are Alma Artte products environmentally friendly?

Not only are we focused on ensuring the legacy of traditional art forms lives on, we also believe in leaving a sustainable legacy for people and the planet. The majority of our products are made with environmentally friendly (natural, recycled, renewable, non-toxic) materials.

How do you help the artisan communities?

It’s really YOU who helps our artisan community (and we thank you for it!) Aside from working with the artisans to provide access to fair wages and opportunities for commerce, your purchase allows us to sponsor community workshops and camps that include vocational training, literacy, and vision and health care check-ups. We also work with artisan groups to improve their creation process to eliminate exposure to toxins, reduce water and fuel waste, recycle/upcycle materials, and build safer working spaces for them to practice their craft.

Where is Alma Artte located?

Our headquarters is located in Apex, North Carolina. All of our products are shipped from India to our warehouse in Apex, where they are then shipped to you.
